A Milestone Moment: Inside Bulbul’s First Advisory Board Meeting

Date: October 10th 2025
Place : Irvine CA
We marked a significant milestone at Bulbul — the convening of our first official Advisory Board meeting. This gathering wasn’t just about aligning strategies; it was about shaping the future of how autonomous drone delivery will seamlessly integrate into daily life.

As a company built on the belief that the sky can be used smarter for everyday logistics, this was a defining moment. For the first time, our leadership team, domain experts, and industry veterans came together under one roof to refine the vision, sharpen the execution strategy, and accelerate the path to scale.

Setting the Tone: A Three-Year Vision

The session began with a comprehensive business presentation led by Ankur Verma, Co-Founder & CTO, where a three-year strategic roadmap for Bulbul was unveiled.

The presentation focused on:

  • Long-term vision for autonomous drone delivery in critical sectors.
  • CAPEX and OPEX projections aligned with operational expansion.
  • Planned milestones in regulatory approvals, product development, and market entry.

This structured, data-driven presentation laid the groundwork for an open and forward-looking discussion, setting the tone for the rest of the meeting.

Regulatory Readiness: Preparing for the Skies

A key part of our strategy revolves around building a regulatory-first operation — ensuring safety, compliance, and scalability from day one.

Our Regulatory & FAA Compliance Advisor, Mr Khurram Abaas, provided a detailed overview of Part 135 certification and the steps required for approval.

This discussion led to:

  • Mapping out the road to Part 135 for Bulbul’s operations.
  • Identifying timelines and key documentation requirements.
  • Discussing how our ADFP platform can align with FAA requirements for advanced air mobility operations.

This alignment with regulatory pathways is critical for ensuring our drone delivery ecosystem is not just innovative, but fully certifiable and scalable within the U.S. airspace.

Pilot Requirements and Test Facility Planning

Safety and operational excellence go hand in hand. Our certified Part 107 and Part 135 pilots, Mr. Denial and Mr. Ben, brought valuable operational insights to the table. The discussion covered:

  • Initial pilot requirements for early-stage flight operations.
  • Required certifications, training, and flight protocols.
  • Test facility planning, including location, safety procedures, and flight validation parameters.

This ensures Bulbul’s upcoming operations are supported by a highly qualified pilot base and a well-structured testing environment, critical for scaling safely and efficiently.

Healthcare Market: Unlocking High-Impact Use Cases

Healthcare logistics remains one of the most transformative applications of drone delivery. With Mr. Brad, Healthcare Advisor, we explored the healthcare landscape to identify high-impact areas where Bulbul can deliver maximum value.

Key areas of focus discussed included:

  • Long-Term Care and At-Home Assisted Living
  • Independent Living Facilities
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities
  • Radiopharmaceutical delivery and other specialized medical logistics

The discussion highlighted how speed and reliability can make a life-saving difference, especially in critical medical use cases like AED and vaccine delivery. By strategically focusing on these segments, Bulbul aims to solve real-world healthcare delivery challenges while supporting providers and patients alike.

Operational Readiness: Building the Backbone of Drone Logistics

No drone delivery ecosystem can thrive without a robust operational framework.

Together with Mr. Frank (Prospective Operations Head) and Mr. Richard (Logistics Advisor), we had an in-depth discussion on:

  • Operational planning and readiness for scale.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and identifying GTM strengths.
  • Creating a scalable logistics model that ensures reliability and cost efficiency.

This conversation reinforced one of Bulbul’s core beliefs — operations are the backbone of innovation. Our goal is not just to fly drones but to build a dependable, scalable delivery infrastructure.

Technology & Ordering Platform: Powering the Experience

Technology sits at the heart of Bulbul’s ecosystem. A dedicated session was held to walk the board through our Ordering Platform for both consumers and businesses.

The presentation showcased:

  • End-to-end supply chain flow and how Bulbul’s platform integrates with different stakeholders.
  • Required licenses, approvals, and procedural compliance for smooth operations.
  • A tech-driven approach to making aerial delivery accessible, seamless, and trackable for users.

This session underlined our commitment to creating a frictionless digital experience that complements the physical drone network.

Fundraising & Growth Strategy: Fueling the Next Chapter

The final segment of the meeting focused on capital strategy with Mr. Ray (Fundraising Advisor). The discussion revolved around:

  • Upcoming fundraising plans.
  • Capital requirements for the next growth phase.
  • Investor outreach strategy and identifying the right partners for scale.

The Advisory Board emphasized building strategic financial partnerships to accelerate product deployment, expand regulatory readiness, and strengthen go-to-market operations.

A Meeting That Ended with Shared Vision

The session concluded over lunch — not with a handshake, but with shared motivation. There was a genuine sense of excitement and alignment among all members. Every participant brought unique expertise and perspectives, yet they all shared a common belief in Bulbul’s mission: “To redefine how the world moves critical goods — faster, safer, and more sustainably through the skies.”

This Advisory Board meeting marked more than a milestone; it marked the beginning of a collective journey toward building one of the most scalable drone delivery ecosystems globally.

What This Means for Bulbul

  • Stronger strategic direction across regulatory, operational, and market domains.
  • Clear healthcare focus with high-impact, life-saving applications.
  • A well-defined technology and business growth roadmap for the next three years.
  • Renewed investor readiness and a powerful leadership coalition guiding the way forward.

At Bulbul, we believe that advisors don’t just guide companies — they accelerate their future. This meeting was proof of that belief.

Final Note from the CEO

“Bringing the Advisory Board together was a defining moment for us. It reaffirmed that what we’re building is bigger than a platform — We are moving towards a smarter, more connected world. With their guidance, we’re ready to turn vision into impact.”
