We are pleased to share an important update in Bulbul’s journey toward building scalable, life-saving drone delivery infrastructure. Bulbul has entered into an early-stage collaboration with the City of Menifee, California, focused on advancing a healthcare drone delivery pilot in the region.
This collaboration represents a meaningful step toward integrating autonomous drone technology into real-world healthcare logistics, with the goal of improving response times, accessibility, and resilience in medical supply delivery.
A Shared Vision for Smarter Healthcare Logistics
The City of Menifee has demonstrated strong leadership and forward thinking in supporting innovative technologies that can benefit its community. From the very beginning, the city has extended exceptional support to Bulbul, working closely with our team to explore how drone delivery can address critical regional challenges such as emergency response, healthcare access, and sustainable logistics.
As part of this collaboration, the City has proposed two land parcels under a minimum lease arrangement, reinforcing its commitment to enabling innovation while supporting public-benefit use cases.
Proposed Sites and Current Status
Bulbul has submitted a detailed site plan to the City, and the collaboration is currently in the early planning and feasibility stage. The proposed locations include:
An Emergency Relief Operations Site – intended to support rapid response use cases such as medical emergencies, disaster relief, and time-critical healthcare deliveries.
A Central Command Station Site – planned as the operational and coordination hub for drone missions, fleet monitoring, and system control.
The City of Menifee’s planning team is actively conducting a feasibility study on the proposed sites and is expected to provide guidance on next steps following their assessment.
Bulbul’s Role in the Collaboration
Bulbul is contributing as a complete end-to-end drone delivery solution provider, encompassing:
